The main aim of our project is to understand the role of normal Huntingtin protein (Htt) in a cell. For this purpose we made use of a Llama antibody library to screen for Antibodies (Abs) against wild type (WT) full length Htt. This screen gave us 40 unique Abs that recognized Htt in different conformations. These Abs were screened by Immunofluroscence experiments where specific Ab gave a specific kind of signal. The Abs also recognize their target protein inside live cell, which can be documented using live cell imaging. Further experimetns needs to be done to support the fact that Htt takes up various conformations inside the cell to perform different tasks.
